Experienced Bench Jeweler - Denver

ABOUT THE POSITION: We are looking for an eager Bench Jeweler to join our studio team. The ideal candidate will possess strong hand fabrication skills along with the flexibility to learn our proprietary techniques and unique aesthetic. To be successful in this position, you will need to be curious, motivated, able to take direction while also being a self starter, have strong attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn with us. You will also need to maintain a level of efficiency, and a high level of craft and workmanship when crafting our work.

Candidates must have strong metalsmithing skills.

A minimum of 2 years jewelry production experience is required.

Candidates will be required to take a bench test.

  • Hand fabrication skills including soldering, filing, finishing, forging

                      Administrative Coordinator

                      WHO: We are looking for a motivated, organized, and meticulous Administrative Coordinator to be responsible for overseeing + managing our administrative affairs. The role will involve keeping the business running smoothly and tending to the day to day business needs of the organization. The position will range widely in duties and responsibilities, but overall the Administrative Coordinator will oversee the efficient functioning of our business through a range of administrative, financial and managerial tasks.

                      The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic about our brand and mission, a quick learner, team player, and a self starter who can spearhead this leadership role, but also take direction as needed. As a small team, we ask our team members to be adaptable, and to be motivated to help us grow, and be successful by taking it upon themselves to suggest ways to improve our sales, and our company, as necessary.                       • Spearhead the implementation of our new business software, Piro Fusion
                      • Create + maintain office/administrative systems that increase efficiency for the business and keep us better organized
                      • Inventory upkeep + assistance
                        • Input retail inventory into Lightspeed POS/Shopify E-commerce 
                        • Draw up KMJ invoices when KMJ stock is added/removed from the store
                      • Website upkeep + maintenance
                        • Updating/adding photos
                        • Rearranging collection pages for ongoing visual interest
                        • Hiding sold out products
                      • Assist with preparation + execution of Semi-Annual Sale + annual KMJ Sample Sale
                      • Assist with mailing campaigns seasonally
                      • Help coordinate schedules and deadlines for events, trade shows, and trunk shows
                      • Handle/file paperwork/emails pertaining to business operations
                      • Clean up + maintain our Google Drive on an ongoing basis
                      • Help maintain + organize our image database and assisting with image requests when needed
                      • Manage subscriptions/permits/fees on an annual basis
                      • Assist with invoicing
                      • Over time assist Kate with maintaining financial spreadsheets
                      • Maintain supplies for the studio and retails stores as needed 
                      • Field non-sales related inquiries and follow-up on same for trade shows, outside vendors, marketing people, ect. for WS and Retail departments - liaising with suppliers and vendors
                      • Keep personnel records up to date, arranging interviews and so on, 
                      • Help with onboarding new team members - coordinating logins, accounts + paperwork
                      • Attend + participate in a weekly team management meeting
                      • Attend meetings with other management team members
                      • Fill in for retail staff on the rare times it might be needed 
                      • Familiarize oneself with our organization + operations, and be adaptable to pitch in where needed

                      WHERE: The Administrative Coordinator will work mainly from our studio in RiNo.

                      WHEN: Hiring immediately. The position is full time, and requires a commitment of 40 hours/week. Hours are 9-5, or 10-6, including lunch. Mon.-Fri., or Tues.-Sat.

                      PAY: $55,000 annual salary. Salaried position with benefits.

                                Retail Sales Associate - Denver/Aspen

                                WHO: We are looking for several part-time Sales Associates to join our sales teams at both of our brick + mortar locations. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products, and recommend the right solutions. You should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints, and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales Associate at Kate Maller Jewelry you will need a great affinity for selling luxury products + a high level of service. You will also need to stay up-to-date with product features, and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.
