Pam Waill, owner of Petite Baleine Jewelry, is attracted to pieces that hold a talisman-liken significance for the woman who wears them. Her jewelry-making business took hold the day she walked into a jewelry boutique, wearing a Tahitian pearl necklace she had made. The pearls caught the owner’s eye. He asked her to come back with a collection, then bought every piece.

What started with Tahitian pearls has grown into a successful line of fine jewelry. Pam loves the unique shape and iridescent color of each pearl. Her designs are focused on fine, high-carat metals that frame organic Tahitian and South Sea pearls, Australian opals, gemstones, and diamonds. She works with responsibly sourced gems and reclaimed gold to create casual, everyday pieces that reflect the beauty and boldness of nature.

Pam studied Business Management and Marketing at Cornell University in New York before pursuing a career in retail sales and merchandising. She left the fast-paced fashion industry to raise a family in a small community an hour north of New York City. She honed her jewelry-making skills on pieces for herself, then launched Petite Baleine.

Sizing

If you do not know your ring size, we highly recommend that you either get sized at our Denver brick and mortar or go to a local jeweler.  We offer one complimentary ring resizing for all engagement/wedding ring purchases and One Of A Kind ring purchases over $4,000 plus within 1 year of purchase (excluding any shipping/delivery charges). Made To Order purchases may incur a fee if it’s a larger size that we do not have listed as in stock, please contact us directly for the possible fee.

Ring resizing is $50 flat (excluding any shipping/delivery charges) on all KMJ rings.  $100 on other artists.

Please note that some styles may not be easily sizable, if at all.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your new piece(s) of jewelry! If you aren't completely satisfied for any reason, you may return or exchange online purchases only within 14 days of the shipment date. In store purchases may be exchanged within 7 days only. Items must be unworn, and returned in their original condition with original packaging. Refunds are less the original shipping cost, as KMJ does not cover shipping. Customer is responsible for safe + secure shipping back to KMJ. All returns need a return authorization before being shipped back to KMJ. Custom Orders

Kate Maller Jewelry welcomes inquiries into our Customs design process. Though easily confused, Custom jewelry is not the same as Made To Order or One Of A Kind pieces.

We view our Customs as a collaboration. We similarly will NOT copy the designs of another artist or jeweler as we strongly feel it undermines the value of artistry and destroys the integrity of the handmade process.
