Queen Bee Bronze Earrings

Julie started her career as a painter and printmaker. Her love of design led to designing dinnerware, textiles, rugs, and wall coverings. This diverse background informs her vision and aesthetic as a jeweler, characterized by the tension between rough and refined, primitive and modern. Ultimately, it’s about paring things down to their essence.

As a self-taught jeweler, Julie begins by working directly with materials rather than sketching a preconceived idea. She draws inspiration from nature, primitive ethnic forms, indigenous crafts, and old-world processes. Her pieces are layered and stacked to create personal collages that juxtapose disparate elements with simple elegance.

Julie’s studio is in Dallas, TX. In addition to her own work, she mentors young artists to learn how to connect the dots, take forks in the road, and use their skills to create an artful life. She resides with her husband and daughter in the White Rock Lake area of Dallas.

Sizing

If you do not know your ring size, we highly recommend that you either get sized at our Denver brick and mortar or go to a local jeweler.  We offer one complimentary ring resizing for all engagement/wedding ring purchases and One Of A Kind ring purchases over $4,000 plus within 1 year of purchase (excluding any shipping/delivery charges). Made To Order purchases may incur a fee if it’s a larger size that we do not have listed as in stock, please contact us directly for the possible fee.

Ring resizing is $50 flat (excluding any shipping/delivery charges) on all KMJ rings.  $100 on other artists.

Please note that some styles may not be easily sizable, if at all.

Returns & Exchanges

In-Stock Items | We offer a full-refund for the purchase price of the item less any shipping charges within 7 days of purchase for items purchased at our Denver brick + mortar, at an Instagram live sale, or online at katemallerjewelry.com.

All items must be new and returned in the original packaging, customers are responsible for return shipping and lost packages upon return. We suggest you choose a shipping service that offers the appropriate amount of insurance coverage for the item you are returning.

Made-to-Order, Custom and Modified Items | We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom, made to order, and resized pieces. All items must be new and returned in the original packaging, customers are responsible for return shipping.

All SALE items are FINAL sale with no option for returns.

Made-to-Order Items | Typically ship within 4-5 weeks.

Custom Orders

Kate Maller Jewelry welcomes inquiries into our Customs design process. Though easily confused, Custom jewelry is not the same as Made To Order or One Of A Kind pieces.

We view our Customs as a collaboration. We similarly will NOT copy the designs of another artist or jeweler as we strongly feel it undermines the value of artistry and destroys the integrity of the handmade process.
