Two Sided Hava Ridge Intarsia Gold Mountain Charm
Inspired by the landscapes Karin calls home, these two-sided charms capture the raw and radiant spirit of the Pacific Northwest. One side is carved into a mountain silhouette using regionally sourced stone from Washington, Oregon, or Idaho, and finished with my signature single diamond set directly into the surface. These earthy tones ground the piece in place and memory.
Flip it over and you’ll find a miniature landscape made from meticulously cut intarsia. Tiny stone segments, only millimeters wide, are inlaid to form vivid terrain. Think opal skies, turquoise lakes, mossy greens, and soft pink streaks. Each one tells a layered story, natural and refined, muted and bright, rugged and precious.

Artist Notes: "All gemstones in my work are traceable and conflict-free. I personally source materials from trusted vendors and, when possible, directly from small U.S. mine owners. Every stone is chosen for its character and story — and always with care and intention."
Karin also cuts her own gemstones from gem rough. " My design process starts with the stone. I spend time studying its color, pattern, and shape, then cut it specifically for the piece I’m making. Every decision — from the first cut to the final setting — is based on what makes that stone unique. No two pieces are ever the same."
