Kate Maller got her start in jewelry-making as a hobby. She began metalworking as a way to relax while pursuing two Master’s degrees in architecture and landscape architecture. This hobby quickly turned into her primary passion, and she left her job as an architect at the firm of Anderson Mason Dale in 2016. Within a few months, in early 2017, she launched Kate Maller Jewelry.

Today, the KMJ brand is one of the most well-known in Denver for its high standards of sustainability, product quality, and design. Kate designs and hand-fabricates all pieces of Kate Maller Jewelry along with her team of jewelers in their private studio in Denver.
