It's true. My waking (and sleeping) life revolves around jewelry. Sometimes I wonder if jewelry really is that important. The answer? A resounding yes! For thousands of years jewelry has marked events, defined status and allowed us to show our individuality. I adore creating pieces that people are inherently drawn to. Pieces that will be gifted with great thought and emotion and become heirlooms.
A childhood and young adult life spent in coastal New England and steeped in the arts led Sarah to study at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. After a year, she dropped out, feeling that something was missing. She took a metalsmithing class on a whim and it was love at first flame. Sarah moved to San Francisco to attend the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts. After completing the program, she immersed herself in the jewelry industry, working for renowned designers and gaining valuable experience. In 2009, she launched her own business and has been working hard to grow her audience ever since. Sarah's work is informed by the natural world as well as ancient history. While she does pay attention to trends, the goal is unique, timeless jewelry.

Custom Orders
Kate Maller Jewelry welcomes inquiries into our Customs design process. Though easily confused, Custom jewelry is not the same as Made To Order or One Of A Kind pieces.
We view our Customs as a collaboration. We similarly will NOT copy the designs of another artist or jeweler as we strongly feel it undermines the value of artistry and destroys the integrity of the handmade process.
